FIELD MARKETING MANAGER — Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation is seeking a Field Marketing Manager Baltimore, DC and Northern VA areas. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, managing and gaining alignment among franchisees and corporate operations to maximize execution of marketing initiatives at the restaurant level. You will supervise planning of local media and trade area programs, deliver sales projections and work closely with brand marketing, operations and franchise leadership, on the development of strategic marketing programs, along with managing DMA advertising and marketing budgets.

Additional responsibilities include making appropriate allocations and adjustments to ensure funds are spent effectively and efficiently to achieve program sales goals and managing local store marketing programs and marketing agency relationships. The candidates we seek will have a Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of corporate marketing or agency experience with demonstrated sales building achievements. You must be an expert in the market, understand the consumer, the competition, the industry and the Brand's business. You must also have strong knowledge of and experience with media planning and buying principles. Experience within the restaurant industry is strongly preferred. 60-70% travel is required with overnights.
