Friendly’s Taps Dave Ulgenalp for Key Role in Franchise Sales and DevelopmentWILBRAHAM, Mass. (Grassroots Newswire) October 29, 2012 - – Friendly's Ice Cream, LLC announces that Dave Ulgenalp has joined Friendly’s as its Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales and Development.
Mr. Ulgenalp, a native of Tarpon Springs, Fla, has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry as an owner of independent full service restaurants and worked as a consultant for Friendly’s for several months prior to accepting his new position. He will be responsible for franchise sales and development as well as design and construction.
Mr. Ulgenalp’s background includes owning and operating an independent restaurant and as a multi-unit franchisee owner of two national casual restaurant chains. He also held positions similar to his current role at Friendly’s at Checkers Drive-In Restaurants and Panera Bread.
