Friendly’s appoints Cheryl Hutchinson
Vice President of Human Resources and Organization Development
WILBRAHAM, MASS.; August 30, 2010 – Friendly Ice Cream Corporation has named Cheryl Hutchinson Vice President of Human Resources and Organization Development. In this role, Ms. Hutchinson is responsible for the company’s human resources and employee development functions.
Ms. Hutchinson joined Friendly’s in August, 1999 as the Regional Human Resource Manager and was promoted to Senior Director of Human Resources in October, 2007. Since that time, she has taken a leadership role in people development, performance management and culture strategies.
“Cheryl brings over 20 years of human resource background and experience in employee relations, staffing, training and manpower planning. She has demonstrated strong leadership and I look forward to her continued achievements” said Harsha V. Agadi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Ms. Hutchinson has been published a number of times in HR magazines/publications, including Employee Benefit News, Return on Performance and Incentive Magazine and has also participated as a guest speaker at the Executive Summit held in San Francisco, Boston and NYC. She lives in Guilford, Connecticut with her family.
