FRIENDLY'S RESTAURANT TO OPEN IN POTTSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA

New Restaurant will Serve Delicious Burgers, Melts and Ice Cream Creations

WILBRAHAM, MA (February 28, 2007) -- Friendly's Restaurants will celebrate the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Pottsville, Pennsylvania located at 7340 Fairlane Mall. The restaurant will open on Monday, March 5, 2007. The hours of operation will be 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Beginning Monday, February 26, 2007, Friendly's will introduce the Ut-O-Eggy-O Sundae, a delicious ice cream sundae created by Springfield Falcons defenseman, #48 Mike Egener. The sundae will be available in Springfield area Friendly's restaurants for a limited time only. The sundae, a combination of all Egener's favorites, contains three flavors of ice cream - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Coffee and Nuts Over Caramel, four toppings - caramel, marshmallow, chocolate sauce and crushed Oreo's, and finishes with whipped topping and a cherry.

The restaurant is owned by Revere Restaurant Group, Incorporated. Bob Bender, Owner, says, "We are very excited to be opening a restaurant in Pottsville. The people in the area are very excited and can't wait to stop in for some great food and ice cream. The restaurant is in a great location, right outside the mall and people can stop in before or after shopping."

Guests at the Pottsville Friendly's can enjoy some old-time Friendly's favorites like Big Beef's or Fribble's or try one of the new delicious sandwiches, including, the new Turkey Club Deluxe, Frisco Supermelt or Friendly's Steak Dip. Guests can also top off their meal with a sundae from the mouth-watering ice cream menu, which includes the delicious Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Sundae or the new Forbidden Fudge Brownie Sundae.

The restaurant will employ approximately 90 full and part-time people. Greg Yergey, the General Manager of the new restaurant, has over ten years of experience in the restaurant industry.
