FRIENDLY'S INVITES GUESTS TO GO CRAZY OVER CHICKEN & NUTS ABOUT ICE CREAM Chicken Lovers Can Enjoy a Free Sundae with a Featured Chicken Meal WILBRAHAM, MA (August 23, 2004) - For the next 62 days, Friendly's Restaurants invites chicken lovers to treat themselves to one of seven Crazy About Chicken meals topped off by a free sundae made with new Velvet Praline Crunch ice cream or one of Friendly's other luscious flavors. The Crazy About Chicken dishes include seven enticing combinations to suit any taste, from down home cooking to bold flavors of Asia and the Caribbean: The new Honey BBQ Chicken Basket, available for a limited time, includes tender chicken strips tossed in a honey BBQ glaze, with a cool ranch dip, and served with fries and cole slaw. The new Oriental Sesame Chicken Basket, available for a limited time, offers strips of crispy chicken breast tossed in oriental ginger glaze, lightly sprinkled with sesame seeds and accompanied by wasabi ranch dipping sauce, fries and cole slaw. The Kickin' Buffalo Chicken Basket features two grilled chicken breasts in flavorful spicy buffalo sauce and served with bleu cheese dip, fries and cole slaw. The Chicken Strips Basket, a Friendly's classic, includes crispy chicken strips, fries, cole slaw and choice of BBQ or honey mustard dipping sauce. Caribbean Chicken & Shrimp offers a perfect seasonal combination of spicy chicken breast with a half dozen marinated grilled shrimp on rice, topped with red peppers and a sweet pineapple sauce for a true Caribbean flair. The BBQ Chicken Platter, available for a limited time, features two grilled chicken breasts basted in tangy BBQ sauce, topped with melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses and served over a bed of crisp Friendly's Fronions with sides of mashed potatoes, sweet corn and garlic bread. New Orleans Chicken with Cheese includes two grilled Cajun seasoned chicken breasts over rice, with tomatoes and melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, and served with broccoli and garlic bread.
