FIFTY KIDS, FIVE CITIES AND ONE FAB JOB! Friendly's Contest Gives Kids A Chance to Win the Coolest Job of the Year WILBRAHAM, Ma (April 5, 2004) - Being a kid just got cooler! Friendly Ice Cream Corporation is looking for a few good kids to win the coolest job of the year - deciding what food is "fab" in '04. Kids ages 8 to 12 in and around Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA can log-on to www.friend-Zworld.com and submit an application for the Friendly's Fab 50 contest, a panel of tweens representing the sophisticated tastes, cutting-edge styles and dynamic personalities of their age group. Friendly's Fab 50 will be involved in menu and new product development, lending their opinions and expertise in areas from ice cream to burgers. Of course, it won't all be serious work for this panel of foodies. Friendly's Fab 50 will kick-off their nine-month term at a party in May where they'll receive a stash of prizes, including a US savings bond, a home supply of Friendly's ice cream, Friendly's Fab 50 gear and a Friendly's gift card. As the voice of their peers, they'll also be featured on the friend-Zworld.com Web site and will make special appearances at a summer mobile marketing tour when it stops in their locale.
